⚠️There are wildfires in Georgia right now!!⚠️‼️

From Time-Hearld:

What we know: State of emergency declared amid Georgia wildfires

Gov. Brian Kemp has declared a state of emergency in 91 Georgia counties.

The order will remain in effect for 30 days unless renewed.

Astatewide burn ban is in place in affected counties, prohibiting yard debris and agricultural burning.

Dry conditions have pushed wildfires beyond the state’s five-year average.

The Georgia National Guard is being deployed, along with air support and additional resources.

FEMA has approved assistance for two major fires in South Georgia.

Multiple state agencies are assisting with firefighting, evacuations and livestock relocation.

Officials are urging residents to follow local guidance and avoid outdoor burning.
