A Book I still think about after reading it.

I went Into saving noah thinking it was a thriller. Boy was I wrong, I never imagined a thriller would have me up at 8am sobbing over fictional characters. The story just hits soo hard, honestly what happens in the book could happen too anyone. And it really gets you thinking about what you would do in this situation. THE TWIST! I ended the book sobbing and pissed off at the same time. This is a book I've recommended too everyone and anyone who will listen. The scenes from this book replay in my head almost daily.

... Read moreIn the realm of contemporary literature, few books manage to leave an indelible mark on readers quite like 'Saving Noah' by Lucinda Berry. This gripping narrative delves into themes of trauma, redemption, and the moral complexities that arise in personal crises. Readers often find themselves deeply invested in the characters' journeys, which reflect universal struggles that resonate with many individuals. As you navigate through the emotional landscape of the story, it's essential to consider how such narratives serve not only as entertainment but also as mirrors to our reality. Many find themselves contemplating similar ethical dilemmas in their lives, asking what they would do in the face of adversity. This level of engagement elevates 'Saving Noah' beyond a standard thriller, fostering discussions on social media platforms like BookTok, where shared experiences and recommendations abound. Moreover, readers express their feelings and thoughts on platforms such as Goodreads, igniting vibrant discussions around character development and plot twists that linger long after the last page is turned. As the story unravels, it encourages a deep introspection about love, loss, and what it means to be human, making it a staple in many book clubs. Thus, the essential takeaway from this novel isn't just the plot twist, but rather the emotional responses it elicits, making it a title worth revisiting.

do you like reading about serial killers?
i think this pairing is SO fun because these books could not be more different, even though they both involve a lot of murder. one is dark and moody and stressful while the other is more whimsical and fantastical and fun. they really capture both of my reading moods! #lemon8partner #

but I think it’s a fantasy series worth reading
how many of you guessed the series before i revealed it? the poppy war is a grimdark military fantasy series, and it has a lot of disturbing elements. it doesn’t shy away from the realities and horrors of war, so if you find that content upsetting i would not recommend picking up these books.
