How to stay motivated 🫶💪🏾
Lmbooo Hello my love’s! Long time no post. I know I just been posting vids of me working out but soon I will be posting before and after pics and videos to show my progress from between now and when I first started earlier this year. A lot of wonderful things our happening for me in the next coming of months and I can’t wait to show everyone. Until then God bless and stay consistent. Remember that every little effort makes for big progress. Do what you can when you can and don’t be afraid to poke fun at yourself every now and then (that’s just what keeps me motivated) God bless and have a beautiful week #bodytransformation #embracevulnerability #lemon8bookclub #workoutsforbeginners
Hey everyone! We all know how tough it can be to stick with a fitness routine, right? I've definitely had my ups and downs on this journey, but I've discovered a few key strategies that really help me with daily motivation to keep going through with my fitness journey. It's not always about grand gestures; sometimes, it's the little things that make all the difference. One thing I've learned is the importance of setting realistic mini-goals. Instead of focusing solely on the end result, which can feel overwhelming, I break my journey down into smaller, achievable steps. Maybe it's hitting the gym three times this week, or trying a new healthy recipe. Each small victory builds momentum and keeps that fire burning. When I achieve a mini-goal, I celebrate it – even if it's just a mental high five! This personal reward system is a huge part of my daily motivation. Consistency truly is key, but it doesn't mean perfection. There will be days when life gets in the way, or you just don't feel like it. And that's okay! On those days, I remind myself that every little effort makes for big progress. Maybe I can't do my full workout, but I can go for a quick walk, or even just do 10 minutes of stretching. The goal is to maintain the habit, even if it's a lighter version. Don't let a missed day turn into a missed week. Just pick right back up where you left off. This approach has transformed how I view my fitness schedule – it's flexible, not rigid. Another powerful tool in my arsenal is tracking my progress. It's incredibly motivating to see how far you've come. Whether it's taking progress photos (which I'm honestly so excited to share soon!), logging my workouts, or even just jotting down how I feel after a session, visual or written proof of improvement is a fantastic morale booster. It reinforces that all your hard work is paying off and provides tangible proof for those days when you feel discouraged. Finally, don't underestimate the power of mindset and self-compassion. There are times I find myself getting frustrated or taking things too seriously. That's when I remember to poke fun at myself a little, laugh off a clumsy moment, or acknowledge that it's okay to not be perfect. Embracing vulnerability in my fitness journey means accepting that some days will be better than others, and that's perfectly human. It's about enjoying the process, finding joy in movement, and being kind to yourself. This positive self-talk is crucial for maintaining long-term motivation. So, if you're struggling to stay motivated, remember these small shifts can make a world of difference. Focus on consistent effort, celebrate every step, track your journey, and most importantly, be kind to yourself. We're in this together!
