My taste in style is changing

After becoming a mom last year, i have not felt comfortable in my old clothes. I’ve been wanting a shift in my wardrobe.. something more “mature” and more “elegant.”

Dont get me wrong, i still love me some big T-shirts with leggings and a converse shoe. I also understand that comfy is the best way to go when you have a toddler that you’re chasing 24/7. Maybe i can incorporate comfy with elegant?

Has anyone gone else with through this phase? Any good store recommendations for pieces like these?

Many new moms seek styles that balance comfort with elegance, particularly as body changes after childbirth may prompt a reconsideration of previous fashion choices. Embracing chic outfits doesn't mean sacrificing comfort. Consider incorporating flexible materials and versatile pieces that can transition from playdates to outings with ease. For example, high-waisted pants paired with a fitted top offer support while maintaining a polished look. Loose skirts with simple shoes can provide flair without feeling restrictive. Additionally, you can elevate casual basics by introducing statement accessories, such as a stylish handbag or elegant sunglasses, which can instantly upgrade an outfit. Layering a denim jacket over a flowy dress can provide both warmth and style. When exploring new pieces, pay attention to stores that specialize in women's clothing, particularly those that cater to pregnant and postpartum bodies. Brands that offer trendy yet functional clothing lines can be great resources. Synchronizing comfort with elegance allows you to feel confident and beautiful every day, from morning school runs to evening dinners. Remember, every mom deserves to embrace her unique style!

I just went through this change and I have 4 kids. Create a capsule wardrobe. Lots of basics and neutrals. Amazon is great for quality. Personally I have been using Shein and Zara.

I’m in this phase too! I’ve been slowly changing out my old clothes to have more of a style like these pictures. Right now, I’m working on the basics, and then I just bought a leather jacket to add to my pop of something
