Traveling in my 20’s- my experience
I was so fortunate to travel as much as I did in my 20's. I hope to travel as much (maybe more) in my 30's as I did the last 10 years because I already have a lifetime full of wonderful memories.
Here are just some of the highlights the last 10 years:
2024- Rome Italy; seeing all the incredible sites and eating some of the best meals of my life
2023- Paris and Portugal which were INCREDIBLE in winter time to see all the holiday decorations
2022- Went to 17 national parks. Utah has some of my favorites and pictures above is Bryce Canyon and all it's hoodoos glory.
2021- Renting a pontoon boat in Destin with the dogs was such a fun experience I'll never forget. Not Konas favorite but a core memory
2020- Bought an RV! And was the start of some epic adventures. Highly recommend the White Mountains in New Hampshire in Fall.
2019- Going to Thailand if your friends get married there is a great choice " don't worry- we can't ride the elephants at the sanctuaries.
2018- Not a big travel year with being the first full year in Business but went to the glorious Sedona Arizona
2017- Moved to San Diego and took in every single sunset | could. Living in Pacific Beach, CA
2016- Australia was a dream and my number one place l look forward to visiting again one day
2015- One of my first ever road trips where the travel bug really started with my mom. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is a totally different experience.
2014- My first International trip to Italy where I fell in love with traveling.
Traveling in your 20s offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore diverse cultures, stunning landscapes, and create unforgettable memories. Whether it's the magical streets of Rome, where history comes alive or the vibrant atmosphere in Paris and Portugal, every trip leaves a mark on your soul. A particularly enriching experience was visiting 17 national parks in Utah, home to breathtaking natural wonders like Bryce Canyon. If you're planning a similar adventure, consider exploring the lesser-known parks for a unique perspective of nature's beauty. Renting a pontoon boat in Destin, Florida, was another highlight; it’s a great way to bond with pets and friends while soaking in the sun. Starting my RV journey in 2020 inspired epic road trips through iconic landscapes, including the fall foliage of New Hampshire's White Mountains. Each destination offers something special, from the colorful festival lights in Europe to the serene views of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Connecting with nature through activities like scuba diving enriches your travels immensely. Moreover, experiencing cultural events, such as weddings in exotic locations like Thailand, adds a personal touch to your adventures. Don't forget about the lesser-known gems, like the stunning sunsets in San Diego that remind you to pause and appreciate simple pleasures. Remember, traveling isn't just about the destinations; it's about the memories you create and the stories you gather, ready to share in your next chapter.
