I let my husband decorate the guest bathroom 🥰
I told my husband, he should choose a theme for the bathroom, so he found a shower curtain he really liked. When we went to hobby lobby, he went with me and found a “Joy to the World” sign that he liked. I built around that idea and got a red bathmat, used a candy cane dish we had for guest items, and helped him pick out stuff for the towel shelf.
Once I put it all together, he was impressed!
I just don’t think he was able to use his creativity enough in life, so I wanted to see what he would come up with.
I love it!

Decorating a guest bathroom for the holidays can be a fun and creative project, especially when embracing a winter or Christmas theme. One standout idea is to use key festive items like a “Joy to the World” sign as a focal point, which instantly sets a joyful holiday tone. Complementing this with themed accessories such as a red bathmat and candy cane dishes creates a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. Adding small decorative touches, like reindeer figurines on a towel shelf, further enhances the festive look while maintaining a tidy and welcoming space for guests. Selecting a unique shower curtain aligned with the theme also adds personality and warmth; just be sure to smooth out any wrinkles for a polished appearance. To keep the decor practical yet charming, incorporating everyday holiday items you already own, like soaps with cozy scents (such as toasted vanilla chai or almond), and repurposing candy cane dishes for guest toiletries, blends function with festive flair. Shopping at craft stores like Hobby Lobby can yield affordable and diverse decor options ranging from signs to small art pieces that help build out the theme. Involving family members in decorating, especially those who may not typically engage their creativity, can lead to memorable and personalized design choices. It’s a wonderful way to share holiday spirit and create a guest space that's both stylish and heartfelt. If you’re looking to elevate your guest bathroom this holiday season, consider mixing traditional Christmas colors—reds, whites, and greens—with winter-themed elements like reindeer or snowflakes for a cheerful yet elegant ambiance. Don’t forget to add personal touches that reflect your style and invite guests to enjoy the festive cheer throughout their stay. Feel free to share your own Christmas bathroom decor pictures and ideas to inspire others in creating warm and joyful spaces during the holidays!
