My Opinions…

My thoughts on skyshade and some unpopular opinions. If you haven’t read the first book I wouldn’t continue reading so nothing gets spoiled. This is the third book of the lightlark series and i love this series! I’ve seen a lot reviews of people saying they didn’t like this book and that it was written poorly with a lot of plot holes but honestly I don’t think that at all. I love this book it kept me hooked and I read it in less than 24 hours. Yes there might have been some potholes, but not enough for me to personally notice. My personally opinion it was written great and was easy for me to follow. I really want Isla to be with Oro so badly and I know so many of you want her to be with grim but I can’t get behind that ship at all. Yes I think grim loves her but only her dark side and I think that’s all he wants her to be. I think Oro will love all of her the good and the bad she’s just afraid that he won’t. I believe that at the end of the second book if she didn’t find out her life was tied to grim and that they were married she would’ve stayed with oro. That’s just my opinion what are your guys thoughts? #honestbookreview #lightlark #nightshade #skyshade #reading

... Read moreIn the world of contemporary fantasy literature, opinions can vary greatly, especially regarding character relationships and plot structures. 'Skyshade,' the latest addition to the Lightlark series, has sparked intense discussions among fans. Some readers have expressed disappointment, citing perceived plot holes and writing quality issues. However, many others, including myself, found the narrative compelling and engaging. This book masterfully balances intricate character arcs with a fast-paced plot, making it a page-turner for avid readers. The dynamics between the main character Isla and her potential love interests, Oro and Grim, serve as crucial elements of the story. Isla's struggles with her identity and the conflicts surrounding her relationships resonate deeply, inviting readers to reflect on their interpretations as well. The question of whether Grim loves Isla for her true self or merely her darker sides adds depth to the storyline, enhancing the emotional stakes. Moreover, Oro's character, representing unconditional love, contrasts sharply with Grim, prompting discussions about love's complexities and the concept of acceptance. Many fans, including some engaged in social media discussions, agree that Oro's potential to embrace all facets of Isla's character heightens reader empathy and investment. The Lightlark series, with its blend of romance and fantasy, continues to captivate audiences, prompting a rich dialogue about character development and thematic elements. As fans debate these narrative choices, it’s clear that 'Skyshade' not only expands the universe but also deepens our understanding of love, loyalty, and self-discovery.
