Repainting Our Guest Room!
✨ Room inspo
Repainting a guest room can dramatically enhance the space's appeal and comfort. Choosing the right color is crucial; for example, many homeowners argue over shades like mint green or soft beige, which can significantly influence the room's mood. If you’re considering repainting, start by testing your color choices in small areas to see how they look with natural light throughout the day. Don’t overlook the importance of preparation: clean the surfaces, patch any holes, and use quality primer to ensure an even finish. Once the main color is set, consider accent walls or decorative touches to add charm. Accessories such as drapes, artwork, and furnishings should complement your color scheme to create a cohesive look. Engage your guests with a personal touch by adding unique decor items that resonate with your style. Remember to gather feedback by sharing your progress on social media or among friends for additional ideas and encouragement. Creating a welcoming guest room goes beyond color; it’s about establishing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Don't forget the importance of lighting—layer both ambient and task lighting to cater to different moods and needs. Lastly, consider incorporating elements such as plants or photographs to personalize your space. With thoughtful choices and a bit of creativity, you can turn an ordinary room into an extraordinary guest retreat that will leave a lasting impression.

We did test colors 2-4 on the wall before going for it with Oakmoss by Sherman Williams. The other two we LOVED! They were just too dark for the room.
