Galatians 5 🌷
GOD ACCEPTS YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE !!✨
No mater what the world thinks of you you’re still a child of God🙌🏾. He doesn’t care about your background or who you were in the past.
Don’t give up on him because you had an encounter with someone that misrepresented him. Once you give your life to God & repent you are set free from ALL of your SINS.
Hey everyone! I’ve been really reflecting on Galatians 5 recently, and what a powerful 'Verse of the day' it's been for my journey. It truly hit me, especially verse 1, which says, 'It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.' This isn't just a nice sentiment; it's a profound truth that speaks directly to our hearts, especially when we're burdened by our past or feel like we don't measure up. Thinking back to the original message about God accepting us for who we are, this freedom isn't about getting a free pass to do whatever we want. Instead, it's a liberation from the power of sin and the weight of condemnation. For me, understanding this brought such immense relief. It means that no matter what mistakes I've made, or who I was yesterday, God's grace through Christ offers a fresh start, a true release. It makes you realize that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is indeed freedom – a deep, soul-level peace that the world can't offer. Galatians 5 goes on to highlight a critical choice we face every day: walking by the Spirit or giving in to the desires of the flesh. The 'fruits of the flesh' – things like discord, jealousy, outbursts of anger – are so easy to fall into. I know I’ve struggled with them! But the beauty of this chapter is that it doesn't leave us there. It calls us to something higher, inviting us to live by the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). This isn't just some abstract concept; it's a daily commitment to letting God's Spirit guide our thoughts, words, and actions. For me, it means pausing before reacting, choosing forgiveness over resentment, and focusing on love even when it's hard. What does that look like practically? For me, it's about checking in with myself throughout the day, asking, 'Am I operating from a place of love and patience, or am I letting my anxieties or frustrations take over?' It’s a continuous learning process. Galatians 5:22-23 beautifully lists the 'fruits of the Spirit' – love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These aren't just traits we should try to have; they are the natural outflow of a life surrendered to the Spirit. It's truly amazing how much difference focusing on these qualities can make in my interactions and overall well-being. This 'Day 194' reflection truly deepens my appreciation for God's incredible acceptance and the freedom He offers. It's a reminder that we don't have to earn His love or clean ourselves up before coming to Him. He meets us right where we are, then empowers us through His Spirit to walk in a new kind of freedom. It's a journey, not a destination, but knowing that He's with us every step of the way makes all the difference. I hope this reflection on Galatians 5 encourages you today, just as it has encouraged me!
