lately the gym has been a discouraging adventure. To get there is a 20 minute walk and I feel like I don’t know when I’m even doing. Any tips?

To enhance your motivation, consider setting realistic and achievable fitness goals. It can be beneficial to focus on small milestones rather than overwhelming yourself with long-term targets. Engaging a workout partner can also provide social accountability, making gym sessions more enjoyable. Additionally, mix up your workout routines; exploring various exercises will not only keep the experience fresh but can also prevent boredom. Finding classes that interest you—like yoga, spinning, or Zumba—may reignite your passion for fitness. Remember, tracking your progress through apps or journals can be incredibly rewarding, as it visually displays how far you've come. Lastly, celebrate your successes, no matter how small; acknowledging your hard work can inspire you to keep pushing forward. If distance is a motivation hurdle, consider exploring home workout options or nearby gyms. In the end, the key lies in finding what works best for you and understanding that consistency is a journey, not a sprint.

You know whatttttt. You really have to just do it. As part of your routine. Also I go to the YMCA and I join classes so I’ll do Zumba an pd yoga whenever. Just find something you enjoy and make yourself do it as routine

For me, it’s the motivation! The goals I have set for myself.
