i’ve been through my fair share of heartbreaks, and thought i knew what a Godly man is supposed to look like, act and say. before this relationship i didn’t realize that i loved to be right all the time in the smallest of ways just as much as the bigger ones.
God has been so gracious and kind. He prunes me day by day and i’ve come to realize that around this man, i can let my walls down. over and over again, he’s been a man of his word. he’s selfless, thoughtful and kind to his friends, family, church and me. he makes me laugh and feels like home even on our toughest days.
i cannot imagine myself with anyone else. we’re going on 6 months but my heart feels like i’ve known him forever. i knew he was the one for me by our second date. the Lord has His hand throughout our entire relationship because i know for a fact, that if we lacked faith, we wouldn’t have stuck together through some of the toughest times.
my love will probably never read this, but for those of you who do, don’t be afraid to give your heart another chance at love. there’s always a risk that it might be broken, but life is too precious to live in fear of Love In Its Fullness.
