What happens when you mix hawke by jescie hall and credence by Penelope Douglas?
You get this freaken masterpiece!!!
My god I was sold immediately. H.Gs writing always grabs me with its raw relatable story telling. I couldn’t put this book down.
This book contains one trope I usually can never get behind (hawke being the exception and now this book) the cheating trope. However , the way it’s done I didn’t mind it one bit, I was cheering for it actually!
Now !!!! Uncle Jake was hot, 🥵 but UNCLE RENNNNNNN my gawwwddd he can get it daily .
This book was absolutely delicious! 🤤 once that angst broke and the spice kicked in my god I was CLENCHING for deal life .
THE TWIST!!!! Excuse me !!! I’m over here in a blind smut feel haze, and bam I’m hit by this unexpected twist and thrown for a complete loop!!
God this book was everything!

Alright, fellow bookworms, let's talk about that magical feeling when you stumble upon a book that just *clicks*, especially during the festive season. I’ve just wrapped up a read that has completely redefined what a 'Christmas book' can be for me. Forget predictable, cozy narratives; this one is packed with so much more – a true rollercoaster of emotions wrapped in holiday cheer, but with a deliciously dark edge. You know those intense reads that leave you thinking about the characters long after you've closed the cover? This is one of them. If you've been searching for something that blends the comforting backdrop of Christmas with the thrilling, often controversial elements of a taboo romance, you’re in for a treat. I'm talking about those age gap dynamics that create undeniable tension, and yes, even a dive into the complexities of a cheating trope – handled in such a compelling way that you find yourself rooting for the unexpected. It really challenges your perceptions, much like how Credence by Penelope Douglas or Hawke by Jescie Hall delves into raw, unfiltered emotions and challenging relationships. There's a particular kind of genius in storytelling that makes you question societal norms, and this book absolutely nails it. The journey through the angst in this story was palpable, building a delicious tension that makes the eventual release of spice so incredibly rewarding. And let me tell you, when the spice finally kicks in, it's not just a subtle flicker; it’s an inferno! The mention of a 'double stuffed scene' from my reading experience is no exaggeration – it’s bold, it’s passionate, and it adds an undeniable layer of heat that will have you clenching for dear life, as I definitely was! It’s the kind of intense, steamy content that readers looking for 'smut' or 'holiday romance' with an edge are truly craving. But beyond the heat and the controversy, what truly sets this 'delicious masterpiece' apart is the sheer unpredictability. Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, the story throws a mind-blowing twist your way. I was completely blindsided, and it elevated the entire experience from a great read to an unforgettable one. It's not just about the romance; it’s about the intricate plot that keeps you guessing until the very last page. For anyone who loves a powerful narrative that doesn't shy away from complex themes, who enjoys authors known for their intense storytelling, this is a must-add to your reading list. If you've enjoyed works by authors like C. Johnston, who often explore deep emotional landscapes and provocative scenarios, you’ll likely find a new favorite here. It’s perfect for those seeking a 'too twisted taboo Christmas' read that promises both 'hallmark vibes' and a whole lot of unexpected sizzle. Get ready to experience a Christmas story that’s anything but ordinary!
