Loc Gel/Cream: Choose your favorite retwist product that offers hold without too much build-up. I prefer something lightweight but effective. Clips/Hair Ties: For sectioning your hair. Towel: For excess water or product. Hair Dryer (with a diffuser): Crucial for drying your roots and setting the style. Step-by-Step: My Retwist & Two-Strand Twist Routine Part 1: The Retwist (Taming New Growth) Start Clean & Damp: I always begin this process on freshly washed and conditioned hair. Your hair should be damp, not dripping wet. This makes it more pliable and easier to work with. If your hair starts to dry during the process, just spritz it with your water bottle. Sectioning is Key: This is where neatness begins! I start by dividing my hair into four main sections (front, back, left, right) and clip them away.
