⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lip tint & Vocab Review!

Hey Study blossoms! 🌸 Like many other users, I got the Benefit lip tint.

So here's my honest review while also reviewing new Japanese vocabulary to study!

The packaging claims it's:

🌸Nondrying: 非乾燥性 (Hikansō-sei):

The product soaks into lips without drying them. 5/5 no complaints

🌸Long lasting: 長持ちする (Nagamochi suru):

this product does stain your lips to the effect it can look like Kool aid lips or in Japanese 唇に色が付く(kuchibiru ni iro ga tsuku) 4/5.

🌸Transfer proof: 移りにくい (Utsuri nikui):

once it is fully soaked into your lips it doesn't transfer I went to work, ate lunch and got home and still had my Kool aid lip look.

🌸Smudge Proof: 滲みにくい (Nijimi nikui):

same as above once it is soaked in it won't budge, but while wet, yes, it will smudge and can stain your fingers and outer lips 👁️ 👄 👁️ this happened to me.... lesson learned.

Overall the packaging is gorg! The tint color is fab!

📝It does take 2 to 3 coats fully soaked in for it to look nice and not like Kool aid lips.

📝With this product you do have to exfoliate your lips before use or it will show EVERYTHING!!

🩷 I used this product as a blush and it blended perfectly with my foundation and gave me a soft pink gradient effect.

I will use this as a blush and a tint beneath a lipstick or gloss.

Anyways that's all for today! Stay blooming 🌸

... Read moreHey, fellow beauty lovers! After seeing the Benefit Floratint everywhere, I knew I had to get my hands on it and give you a more in-depth look. My initial review touched on the basics, but let's dive deeper into what makes this particular 'lip tint product' either a must-have or something you might want to reconsider, especially if you're looking for that perfect 'tint's effect on lips' with long-lasting wear. First off, let's talk about getting the most out of this 'cosmetic tint bottle.' The original post mentioned exfoliating, and I cannot stress this enough. For a truly even application, gentle lip exfoliation is key. I've found that using a sugar scrub a few minutes before applying, then gently wiping it off, creates the smoothest canvas. Otherwise, any dry patches will grab onto the pigment, leading to those dreaded 'Kool-aid lips' or a patchy finish. After exfoliating, make sure your lips are completely dry. I usually dab mine with a tissue. For a natural, 'soft pink lip color,' I apply one thin layer, let it dry for about 30 seconds, and then apply another. The key is thin layers and patience, allowing each to soak in. This really helps achieve that 'non-drying' feeling the brand promises. Now, for the 'longwear' aspect. My real-life testing has been quite thorough! I wore it through a full workday, which included multiple coffee sips and a sandwich for lunch. The initial vibrant stain definitely mellowed out, especially on the inner part of my lips, but there was still a noticeable flush of color. It doesn't completely vanish, which is a big win for busy days. For maximum longevity, I sometimes apply a third very thin layer and blot gently with a tissue. This seems to set the color even further. I also noticed that how much you talk or eat impacts the wear, but for everyday use, it holds up better than most lipsticks or glosses. Using Floratint as a blush is another game-changer. The original article mentioned it blending perfectly, and I totally agree. My tip for blush application: instead of applying directly to your cheeks, dab a small amount on the back of your hand first. Then, use your finger or a damp beauty sponge to pick up the product and stipple it onto your cheeks. This gives you more control and prevents a super bright, clown-like flush. It creates such a natural, rosy glow that truly lasts. I've used it over both liquid and powder foundation, and it works beautifully, giving that fresh, 'soft pink' gradient effect. One thing I've learned is that while it's 'smudge-proof' once dry, you have to be careful during application. That initial wet stage can stain anything it touches – fingers, outer lip area – so precision is your friend. I use a small lip brush for the edges to ensure a clean line, especially when I'm aiming for a more defined look. Overall, my 'Honest Review' of Benefit Floratint is that 'THIS TINT IS IT' if you're looking for a versatile, long-lasting tint that can give you a beautiful, natural flush on both lips and cheeks. Just remember those prep and application tips for the best results!
