Pre-Nap Snack Plate!
#lemon8diarychallenge #snack #snackplate #oreo #cinnamon roll #ricekrispytreats #homemade #food #foodie Hey guys! So I decided to make a quick Pre-Nap Snack Plate! I have four Cinnamon Sugar Rice Krispy Treats(Homemade), Two amazingly delicious Oreo Frosted Cookies, and a Cinnamon Roll(square)! It may not be healthy to you and I know it’s not healthy to/for me either, but eating something that’ll make me happy right before I take a nap makes sure I won’t wake up starving in an hour or so, making it safer for me and also helps me cut down on over excessive eating. And come at me if you want about it, It helps me so if it doesn’t help you, that’s fine ❣️
You know how sometimes you just need a little something before a nap to make it truly perfect? My recent pre-nap snack plate featuring those delicious homemade Rice Krispy Treats, those amazing Oreo Frosted Cookies, and a cozy Cinnamon Roll really hit the spot. It made me realize how important a little pre-nap ritual can be. It's not just about the treats themselves, but the whole idea of setting yourself up for a truly restful break. I used to wake up from naps feeling even hungrier than before, which would sometimes lead to me overeating later in the day. Sound familiar? That's exactly why I started exploring the benefits of a Pre-Nap Snack Plate. For me, it's about finding that sweet spot – something satisfying enough to keep the growlies away, but not so heavy it interferes with my sleep. The goal is to feel content and relaxed, not stuffed or deprived. While those indulgent treats like the HomeMade Rice Krispy Treats and the Oreo Frosted Cookies are pure joy, and definitely part of my routine when I need that comfort, I've also found some other fantastic options depending on my mood and what my body needs. Sometimes, I opt for something lighter, like a small bowl of Greek yogurt with a few berries, or a handful of almonds and a small piece of fruit. The key is finding what works for you and your unique body clock. It's all about making sure your pre-nap snack supports your rest. Whether it’s those comforting HomeMade Rice Krispy Treats, a couple of Oreo Frosted Cookies, or a warm, soft Cinnamon Roll, the goal is to feel calm and content. This small act of self-care helps prevent that sudden drop in blood sugar that can sometimes cause you to wake up feeling irritable or even more tired than before you laid down. Plus, there's something incredibly soothing about enjoying a little treat before drifting off. I've learned that portion control is super important – you don't want a full meal right before a nap! Just a small, satisfying bite. And don't forget to hydrate; sometimes thirst can disguise itself as hunger. What are your go-to pre-nap snacks? I'd love to hear your ideas and how you make your naps even better! It’s true what the original post said – sometimes it’s not about being perfectly 'healthy' all the time, but about what makes you feel good and supports your well-being in the moment. A happy nap often leads to a more productive afternoon, and if a delicious treat gets you there, then why not?
