I have four Cinnamon Sugar Rice Krispy Treats(Homemade), Two amazingly delicious Oreo Frosted Cookies, and a Cinnamon Roll(square)! It may not be healthy to you and I know it’s not healthy to/for me either, but eating something that’ll make me happy right before I take a nap makes sure I won’t wake up starving in an hour or so, making it safer for me and also helps me cut down on over excessive eating. And come at me if you want about it, It helps me so if it doesn’t help you, that’s fine ❣️

That's exactly why I started exploring the benefits of a Pre-Nap Snack Plate. For me, it's about finding that sweet spot – something satisfying enough to keep the growlies away, but not so heavy it interferes with my sleep. The goal is to feel content and relaxed, not stuffed or deprived. While those indulgent treats like the HomeMade Rice Krispy Treats and the Oreo Frosted Cookies are pure joy, and definitely part of my routine when I need that comfort, I've also found some other fantastic options depending on my mood and what my body needs. Sometimes, I opt for something lighter, like a small bowl of Greek yogurt with a few berries, or a handful of almonds and a small piece of fruit. The key is finding what works for you and your unique body clock. It's all about making sure your pre-nap snack supports your rest. Whether it’s those comforting HomeMade Rice Krispy Treats, a couple of Oreo Frosted Cookies, or a warm, soft Cinnamon Roll, the goal is to feel calm and content. This small act of self-care helps prevent that sudden drop in blood sugar that can sometimes cause you to wake up feeling irritable or even more tired than before you laid down.
