So many of you are curious about the Raising Cane's Box Combo Meal tray, and after my recent visit, I totally get why! When you ask 'what’s this,' you're looking at a classic fast-food setup. My order, the combo box for about $12, came packed in a styrofoam container, just like you'd expect. Inside, you’ll find their famous chicken tenders, a hearty serving of crinkle-cut fries, a slice of Texas toast, a cup of their signature dipping sauce, and a small side of coleslaw. The OCR image insight perfectly captures this – I even had a chicken tender broken open, ready to dip! Let's break down each part of this chicken fingers combo box. First, the chicken tenders. They're hand-battered and fried, with a nice crisp on the outside. For me, while good, they didn't quite hit the mark compared to Zaxby's. Zaxby's chicken just has a bit more seasoning and a different, perhaps juicier, texture that I personally prefer. If you're a fan of a simpler, less seasoned fried chicken, Cane's might be your jam. Then there’s the famous Cane's Sauce. Honestly, I found it a bit overhyped. It's creamy, tangy, and has a peppery kick, almost like a blend of mayo, ketchup, Worcestershire, and spices. However, if you're like me and have a strong preference for Zaxby's, you might find yourself wishing for their distinct flavor profile. It's a good meal for a quick bite, but don't go in expecting a life-changing chicken experience if you're already a Zaxby's loyalist like myself.
