Decorating while on a single income budget, and living fresh post-grad life, can be really hard.

1. The best thing I ever did was adapt a minimalist mindset, less is more!!

2. Keep all gifts you get, and use things like candles, photos and books as decor! Free, practical and personal.

3. We take photos of everyone who visits the apartment. A free way to build some decor, a really fun talking piece and acts as a personal guest book.

4. Finding functional decor was a MUST.

5. Taking things from your childhood home/room. Free and nostalgic!
