WHAT I ATE IN OSAKA!

All that i ate! not gonna shut up about the trip yet, until im done and over it! it’s like post concert depression, same same, it’s post trip depression HAHAHA!! i miss japan a lot ! reminiscing all the food i ate!! and making these edits, just so i wont forget everything there.

My favourite would be zenith ramen! goated ! goated! goated! that very same day, we kinda had airbnb issues and we had to settle some stuff, we were so tired of settling and dealing with whatever we had to and came to this place. to our surprise, the food was really really good. all 4 bowls were so well cooked. till today, my mum still talks about that ramen 🤣🤣 she even remembers the shop name🤣 if you’re around that area, really worth giving it a try even though the noodles are abit pricier at $12-$13 a bowl? saying it’s pricier cause!! some shops sell at $6/7 for ramen. 676767!!

idk, i just wanted to share these places! if you can find them, try them! i think the places we randomly selected were solid 7-10/10

... Read moreDuring my trip to Osaka, one thing that truly elevated my experience was the diverse and delicious food options scattered around the city. While Zenith Ramen stole the show with its perfectly cooked bowls and rich broth, I also ventured into other local specialties that deserve mention. For instance, the salmon bowl with ikura that I tried in Dotonbori presented a unique mix of fresh flavors, although I found it a bit too fishy for my taste. That area is famous for fresh seafood, so the quality is top-notch even if the flavors may vary depending on personal preferences. Another memorable meal was at Full Moon Ramen, which I rated a perfect 10/10. Although pricier, the broth was boiled with a special spice unique to the shop, providing a rich, comforting taste that lingered pleasantly. If you’re worried about budget, many ramen shops offer bowls for around 600-700 yen, but be prepared that some favorites may cost a bit more, especially those with extra toppings or special broths. I also tried several types of oil noodles and pork dishes that were flavorful yet heavier, reflecting the hearty side of Osaka cuisine. Aside from ramen, Osaka is also known for its casual dining options like gyoza and grilled meats, which provide satisfying meals after a day of sightseeing. The local BBQ and steak spots offer generous portions and are worth experiencing if you crave something meaty. One practical tip: water in many eateries is free and refillable, which is a great bonus after trying all this delicious, and sometimes salty, Japanese food. And if you’re visiting during the weekend, keep an eye out for special lunch menus that include unique treats like caramelized BBQ burgers or limited edition pancakes near Osaka Castle. Overall, Osaka’s food scene is vibrant and full of surprises. My journey through ramen shops, seafood joints, and BBQ grills left me with fond memories and cravings to return. If you love exploring local tastes, Osaka is truly a foodie's paradise!
