Peek into my book mind

Acotar was the first real book I read 6 years ago that really got me into fantasy/ YA. Definitely need to check out her other series (Sarah J Maas)

Love love loveee a good enemy to lover. I am not particularly fond of the insta-connect. I want the fight and the resistance. Just for them to slowly consume every fiber of the MC existance.

If it’s all spice and no plot, I get bored. I love the action and thrill of battles, wars, fights, missions, etc. Dont get me wrong… love the “chemistry”😏 but I love plot even more with some good sprinkles of spice

... Read moreAs a dedicated fantasy romance reader, I have developed a taste for narratives that blend action with deep emotional connections. The 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' series, known as ACOTAR, is a perfect example of how fantasy worlds can draw readers in and create lasting bonds with characters. The dynamic of enemies evolving into lovers captivates many readers who crave tension and development throughout the story. Furthermore, a story that emphasizes plot alongside romance tends to resonate better with me. It's important to have significant events and character growth that complement the romantic elements. The chemistry between characters should emerge naturally from their interactions and struggles, rather than relying solely on instant attraction. This enduring plot structure not only keeps the reader engaged but also enriches the overall narrative. In the realm of fantasy literature, works by authors like Sarah J. Maas offer intricate plots filled with battles, wars, and vivid world-building that enhance the emotional journey of characters. Many readers appreciate how these elements contribute to understanding the complexities of relationships within the story. Join me in exploring more fantasy novels that master the combination of plot and romance, and see how they can ignite a passion for reading in anyone. Whether you are new to the genre or a long-time fan, there's always something new to discover!
