DIY Cacti Garden 🌵

I purchased a bunch of small cacti on sale and placed them all in a wide and shallow bowl with some additional cacti 🌵 soil added….. turned out beautiful…. But I was really painful to place 👀….. I recommend gloves that have suede palms, the thorns just get stuck in the fabric ones. #cactus #cacti #diyplanter #diygarden #Lemon8Diary

To start, select a variety of small cacti that complement each other in terms of color and size, enhancing visual appeal. When potting cacti, it’s essential to use well-draining soil. A mixture designed specifically for cacti will help to prevent root rot and will ensure your plants thrive. In addition to choosing the right soil, consider the type of container you’ll use. Shallow bowls or pots can work well, providing enough space for roots while ensuring excellent drainage. Make sure your container has drainage holes to avoid any water accumulation. Lastly, remember that cacti require plenty of sunlight, so placing your garden in a bright location will encourage healthy growth. Moreover, be mindful of their watering needs; most cacti prefer infrequent watering, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. With these tips, you’ll create a flourishing cacti garden that adds character to any space!
