TWO Things Different My Second Pregnancy
I was induced with my first, in labor for 21 hours, 4th degree tear, body was NOT prepared for labor & delivery. I was determined to not let that happen with my second baby. I knew I wanted to go without an epidural this time and needed to find ways to make labor & delivery as fast as possible. It boiled down to working out and this tincture. I was 1cm & 0% effaced on Thursday afternoon. Monday morning I wad 3.5cm & 100% effaced. Tuesday night at 9:30pm my water broke, got to the hospital and was 4.5cm, 30 minutes later i was 8.5cm pushing 9cm. From 9cm to 10cm was about a minute and my baby came out in 3 pushes.
I recommend this Gentle Birth Tincture to everyone! As always, consult with your midwife/doctor before starting anything!
Best wishes and healthy deliveries on your sweet babies❤️

I know many of you are curious about what truly made my second labor so different from my first. Beyond just wanting a better experience, I was actively seeking ways to prepare my body and mind. It's amazing how much more confidence you have when you feel empowered with knowledge and tools! Let's talk about the Gentle Birth Tincture first. While I can only speak from my personal experience, many believe these tinctures, often containing herbs like red raspberry leaf, black cohosh, or blue cohosh, are designed to tone the uterus and prepare the cervix for labor. The idea is to make contractions more efficient, potentially leading to a shorter and smoother delivery. I definitely felt it contributed to my speedy progression from 1cm to 10cm! However, always, always consult with your midwife or doctor before trying any herbal supplements – what works for one person might not be right for another. My commitment to working out until 34 weeks was another game-changer. It wasn't just about staying fit; it was about preparing my body for the marathon of labor. Staying active can positively influence your baby's position, encouraging them to settle into an optimal head-down, anterior position which is ideal for birth. Exercises like deep squats, pelvic tilts, and even brisk walking can help open your pelvis and use gravity to your advantage. This proactive approach can also help alleviate some of the discomforts often associated with carrying baby low in your second trimester by strengthening your core and pelvic floor. It’s fascinating how different pregnancies can feel. Many moms wonder, "Will I have a huge baby bump earlier this time?" or "How does my 1st vs 2nd pregnancy belly at 10 weeks compare?" Often, your uterus has already been stretched, so you might show a bit sooner or feel movements earlier. But the biggest difference for me was the mental shift and knowing my body's capabilities. That active preparation mentally and physically made all the difference. After my challenging first delivery, I was determined to reclaim a positive birthing experience. While not everyone aims for an 'orgasmic birth' in the literal sense, the concept of a powerful, positive, and connected birth was a huge motivator. Reducing fear, staying informed, and empowering myself with choices, whether you're 40 and pregnant or in your twenties, can truly transform your delivery journey. Every birth is unique, but being prepared can make it incredibly rewarding.
