Creating our baby book <3

While it got a 9/10 from me because marks can show easily, it absolutely doesn't detract from the joy of preserving these memories. So, how do you even begin creating your own baby book, especially when you want to highlight those incredible ultrasound moments? Here are some ideas and tips that have really helped me get started: First, let's talk about those precious ultrasound photos. They are truly the first glimpses of your little one, and making them a focal point is a must. For the cover, I knew I wanted to feature an ultrasound photo right away, perhaps even add a little "Baby Jimenez 2025" to mark the year. Inside, I dedicated pages to each scan. For example, I have a page showing our first ultrasound, then another for the progression of pregnancy photos from 8 to 12 weeks. Seeing how much they've grown even in those early weeks is just magical! Don't be afraid to cut out the ultrasound images carefully and arrange them creatively. You can even add little captions detailing the week of gestation or what you felt when you first saw them. Beyond the ultrasounds, think about all the "firsts" for expecting parents. I dedicated my very first page to the day we found out we were pregnant. I included small photos of us, perhaps from around that time, and noted down the emotions, the date, and our estimated due date of May 21st, 2025. It's amazing how quickly those details can fade if not documented. You can also include photos of your growing bump, partner reactions, or even pictures from your baby shower. To make the process super easy, invest in a portable photo printer! I found a pink portable photo printer to be incredibly handy. It lets you print photos directly from your phone, so you don't have to wait to get prints developed. This means you can instantly add photos of your journey as it unfolds. Also, don't forget decorative stickers, pretty papers, and different colored pens to make each page pop. Handwriting notes adds such a personal, heartfelt touch, making it truly unique. Remember, this isn't about perfection; it's about capturing the authentic journey. So grab your supplies, put on some music, and start creating a beautiful keepsake for your family.
