Happy Lent! 🐣
During this lent season instead of giving up something until Easter I am going to be gaining a stronger relationship within my faith.
My goal is to take care of myself •Body •Mind •Spirit
Myself along with 2 of my coworkers we are going to be putting ourselves first and try to develop better habits for ourselves!
I purchased us these prayer journals for $9.95 on Amazon along with a pack of glitter gel pens for each of us to help motivate and guidance during this journey. I am excited to see what is to come and to better my real with God.
Thus far I am enjoying this guided prayer journal, the prompt thus far really made me think and reflect.

Lent is traditionally a time for reflection and spiritual growth, often observed by fasting or giving something up. However, a growing trend is to embrace this season by focusing on personal enrichment and nurturing one's faith journey. Spending time on self-care, whether it be body, mind, or spirit, offers a holistic approach to spirituality. The use of guided prayer journals, such as those by Shannon Roberts which highlight weekly scripture reflections, provides an excellent tool for recording thoughts and prayers, making it easier to track spiritual growth. Praying and journaling can lead to deeper insights and a more profound relationship with God. As you embark on this journey, consider setting goals that include not just self-reflection but also engaging with your community, whether through church activities or sharing your experiences online through platforms like Lemon8. Additionally, the choice of quality materials like glitter gel pens can enhance the journaling experience, making it more inviting and personal. The act of writing down your thoughts and prayers allows for a tangible connection to your spiritual goals. This personalized approach can turn the mundane into the sacred, helping individuals see God’s hand at work in their everyday lives. Exploring hashtags like #devotional and #selfimprovement can also connect you with a larger community of individuals focusing on similar journeys. Ultimately, making space for spiritual practices during Lent can lead to transformations that extend far beyond the season itself.
