Hair Inspo 🧸🤎💇🏻‍♀️

How I went from faded cherry red to a chocolate brown!

I am at no means a hair dresser nor do I claim to be this is what worked for me and my hairs current state💁🏻‍♀️

Last I dyed my hair was August/2025 it was a deep cherry red. Since then I have not dyed my hair or added any pigment. I have been trying to wash out as much color as possible with regular shampoo and conditioner.

I went to Sally's and picked up the L'Oréal high color highlift color in shades coolest brown and cool light brown 🤎 I wanted to go back to a brown and was aware there was going to be a chance that the red was going to still be peaking through and was ok with it

I love the results I plan on using a blue depositing glaze or gloss to help neutralize the red a bit just so I can get the most out of the brown! I feel like this fits the era I am stepping into with this new year and birthday! 💁🏻‍♀️🫶🏼

All I need now is a fresh cut and I will be all set to go!
