Picture work
Been going through pictures making peace with all my old friends and family and my self in all my different stages rembering who I was, knowing who I am and being ok with the journey.
As we work on opening our hearts I think doing picture work is essential to one’s growth gives you the ability to place your self back in some exact moments where you can rethink and re feel and let your self know she’s ok and you either survived coming stronger or you were safe. #healing in progress #spirituality
Picture work is a profound journey of self-discovery and healing. By revisiting images of our past, we can reconnect with emotions and experiences that shape us. This practice encourages mindfulness and self-compassion, allowing us to acknowledge our growth over time. It emphasizes the importance of being present with our feelings, giving us the chance to process emotions that may have been left unaddressed. Engaging in this reflection can unveil layers of understanding about ourselves and our relationships, promoting a deeper sense of safety and resilience. As we dive into these memories, we often find that we were stronger than we realized and remember moments of joy, struggle, and triumph. Such reflection fuels our spiritual growth, helping us release what no longer serves us and embrace who we are becoming. Additionally, finding groups or communities that share similar stories can amplify the healing experience, encouraging support and connection. Therefore, picture work is not just about nostalgia; it's about transformation, acceptance, and moving forward with grace.
