✨Books/Series That I’ll Be Re-Reading✨

These are a few series I’ll be revisiting this year-some in preparation for the next installment in the series, some just because I loved them!

What are some of your favorite books that you reread?

... Read moreRe-reading books can be such a rewarding experience, especially with series that have stayed with you over time. I often find that returning to a favorite series brings out details I missed the first time and deepens my connection to the characters and world-building. For instance, series like "Heavenly Bodies" and "The Knave and the Knight Moon," which are mentioned among the books I plan to revisit, offer rich narratives and immersive plots that feel fresh on multiple reads. One of the reasons I love to re-read certain series is to prepare for the next installment. Knowing the story so well helps me catch subtle hints and foreshadowing, making the new releases even more exciting. This anticipation turns the reading experience into a shared journey with other fans. Sometimes, I also revisit books simply because they bring comfort and joy. During busy or stressful periods, coming back to an old favorite can restore calm and remind me why I fell in love with reading in the first place. If you’re considering rereading some books in 2026, I recommend selecting series that offer rich worldbuilding and complex characters. Examples from my list include works by authors like Rachel Gillig, Brian McClellan, and Emily Tesh, each known for masterful storytelling that holds up well across multiple reads. What I’d love to hear from fellow readers is: which series do you find yourself going back to over and over? How does revisiting a beloved book change your perspective? Sharing these experiences makes the community of readers feel even more connected and inspires new reading adventures.

but I think it’s a fantasy series worth reading
how many of you guessed the series before i revealed it? the poppy war is a grimdark military fantasy series, and it has a lot of disturbing elements. it doesn’t shy away from the realities and horrors of war, so if you find that content upsetting i would not recommend picking up these books.
