But I want to share this with you anyway 🥰

Hey, I’m Ashley! I feel like I see a lot of perfection on this app or a lot of posts that don’t always show the realness and reality of life. I’m here to tell you I am not here to show perfection.

I used to weigh 250 pounds and have lost 90 of that. Life isn’t always tight bodies and string bikinis.

I work in a warehouse despite having a college education. Things don’t always go as planned.

I’m 22 and still live with my parents. Some may be embarrassed by that, I’m thankful for it.

My hair is usually a mess and my skin has never looked glowy but that’s okay. You don’t have to have those things to be beautiful.

I’m not knocking this app I’m just saying I’d like to add a sense of realness. I’m just your average girl. I’m not here to make it big or be some big content creator. I just want to share who I am and hopefully connect with others along the way.

However, embracing our faults and vulnerabilities fosters genuine connections and growth. From personal weight loss journeys to the challenges of career choices, sharing authentic experiences can inspire others feeling the pressure to conform to unrealistic standards. The transformative power of self-acceptance lies in recognizing that beauty doesn't come from perfection but from authenticity. It’s okay to not have everything together and to share your 'unaesthetic' moments. By highlighting the everyday struggles and celebrating personal growth, we create a community where everyone feels valued. Join the movement of #embracevulnerability, and let's redefine beauty together. Remember, all our journeys are unique, and sharing them can empower others to find solace in their own imperfections.
