Trusting in the dark.
Psalms 119:105 (NIV)
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
Imagine yourself in a dark cave and the only thing visible is your hands and feet. It’s no one physically around to help through the darkness just you and an invisible God. No matter how high you hold up the torch it’s absolutely dark straight ahead, only thing you hear is whispers “Trust me” “pray” “Trust me” “Pray”.
It’s so frustrating not being able to see or not knowing what is ahead of you.
Being used to controlling things and making things go your way.
Then losing your eyesight or being out of all options but to trust something you cannot see!
Try going through this with two teenagers; girl and boy and all of your own personal issues. All the while hearing whispers “Trust Me” “Pray”!
I have never read things would be easy but i have read things are better with him (God), he has already overcame the world. Making this practical has been my biggest challenge. Embarrassing to say but the biggest challenge for years. This time i have no choice but to cry, TRUST HIM push and PRAY!
