Valentines crafts 💕

... Read moreValentine’s Day is such a special time to connect with your children through creative activities. One of my favorite memories is making simple, meaningful crafts that express affection in fun ways—like using the phrase "I love you BERRY MUCH" to create cute berry-themed cards or decorations. These small projects not only stimulate creativity but also give kids a chance to practice fine motor skills. When crafting with children, I like to keep the materials easy to find and simple to use: construction paper, markers, glue, and some stickers or little faux berries can turn into charming cards or wall hangings. We usually work together on cutting out heart shapes, writing sweet messages, and decorating with colorful designs. It’s wonderful to see their personalities shine through their creations. Besides making physical crafts, it’s important to encourage kids to share why they love the people they’re making gifts for. This adds emotional value to the craft and reinforces positive communication. You can even take pictures of their finished projects and create a little slideshow or album to keep the memories alive beyond Valentine’s Day. Incorporating themes like "berry much love" or other playful puns adds a cheerful and memorable twist to the crafts, which kids love. Plus, these activities provide a lovely way to make the holiday more inclusive and interactive, making both children and parents feel involved and cherished during Valentine’s celebrations.
