I want to be the little sister sometimes 😂😅 @Juicybooty3000 #saramovedout #sisters #littlesister
So, Sara finally packed up her last box and officially moved out! It's been such a mix of emotions, you know? At first, there's this weird quietness in the house, like a part of the daily chaos has just... vanished. But then, the real feelings kick in. I've realized lately how much I sometimes wish *I* could be the 'little sister' again. Seriously, the convenience of having someone around to blame for things, or just to share a laugh with over the silliest mishaps, is something you don't fully appreciate until it's gone! I was five months pregnant when she left, and let me tell you, that amplified everything! There are days when I'm just exhausted, maybe even feeling a few contractions, and all I want to do is curl up and have someone else deal with the 'adulting.' Like, when I couldn't find my wallet the other day – classic me, right? Instead of a quick, playful 'What's up dog, found it yet?' from Sara, I had to trace my own steps. Even though half the time she was probably giving my husband a hug and charming him into finding it for *her*, it was still part of our dynamic. It makes me think about all those little, everyday sister moments. Remember when she'd be cutting on my table, and I’d be like, 'Are you cutting on my table?! I put a paper towel down!' and she'd just give me that look? Or the times we'd joke about where she got her 'sas' from – probably me, let's be honest! Those are the things you miss. It’s not just about her physical presence, but the whole ‘little sistering’ vibe that fills a home with unique energy. When you’re pregnant, you become a little more vulnerable, a little more prone to wishing someone would just take care of things for you. It’s funny how a sister moving out can make you reflect on your own role in the family. Am I always the 'big sister'? Can't I just be the one who gets spoiled and looked after sometimes? Even with her gone, our sister bond is still super strong. We still have our hilarious phone calls, sharing stories and inside jokes. It’s just... different. It's a new chapter for both of us, and while I miss the daily antics, I'm also excited for her new adventures. But hey, if anyone needs a 'little sister' for a day, I'm available! Just kidding... mostly. It just goes to show, you can take the sister out of the house, but you can’t take the 'little sister' out of the heart (or the wish to be one sometimes!).
