Life in Jesus Christ
We are not the source of life, Jesus Christ is (Colossians 3:4; John 14:6). Our role is not to generate life, but to live from the life He has already given (Galatians 2:20).
When Jesus is central, everything changes. We are no longer striving to become alive, we are living because He lives in us (John 14:19). The pressure to perform is replaced with the invitation to abide (John 15:4-5).
At the cross, our old source of living was crucified with Him (Romans 6:6; Galatians 2:20). In His resurrection, a new source of life was given, Jesus Himself within us (Romans 6:4; Colossians 1:27). Now obedience is not self-production but divine overflow (Philippians 2:13).
