The work of Mr. Korn - Korn Nya, "KORNDOLL," a Thai artist of contemporary art and art toys, is remarkable for bringing vintage toys to combine art with unique classics.
With a special project that Qualy invited 15 Thai artists to interpret the word "ART FOR A SUATAINABLE WORLD" through the creation of Painting & Sculpture from Qualy's World Recycled Materials. ♻️
The "World Snakes and Ladders" painting, which conveys that the world is a snake ladder game, where every step is full of human disasters and crises, where we can pass obstacles, requires knowledge, action to lead the world to sustainability.
The "coconut" sculpture that conveys us to use our resources cost-effectively is like a coconut that works in every part.
With "stumps" that convey the revelation of traces of natural destruction and remind us to "protect the remaining resources."

นิทรรศการ Art for a Sustainable World โดย QUALY ร่วมกับศิลปินอย่าง KORNDOLL เป็นโอกาสดีที่ผมได้เห็นศิลปะที่ผสมผสานความรู้เรื่องการรักษ์โลกอย่างลึกซึ้ง ความโดดเด่นของผลงานคือการใช้วัสดุรีไซเคิลและของเล่นวินเทจ มาสร้างสรรค์เป็นภาพวาดและประติมากรรมที่มีความหมายลึกซึ้ง อย่างผลงาน Painting "World Snakes and Ladders" ที่เปรียบโลกเป็นเกมบันไดงู ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยบททดสอบและวิกฤตต่างๆ ที่มนุษย์ต้องฝ่าฟันด้วยความรู้และการลงมือทำจริงจัง ในส่วนของ Sculpture "มะพร้าว" สะท้อนถึงการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพ เหมือนมะพร้าวที่ทุกส่วนสามารถใช้ประโยชน์ได้ ส่วน "ตอไม้" เป็นการเตือนใจถึงผลกระทบจากการทำลายธรรมชาติที่เราต้องร่วมมือกันปกป้องทรัพยากรที่เหลืออยู่ การได้ชมผลงานจากศิลปินไทย 15 คน ในนิทรรศการนี้ ทำให้ผมรู้สึกว่า ศิลปะสามารถเป็นเครื่องมือสื่อสารที่ทรงพลังเพื่อกระตุ้นความตระหนักและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการปกป้องโลกใบนี้ได้อย่างแท้จริง สำหรับใครที่รักงานศิลปะและสนใจเรื่องความยั่งยืน แนะนำให้มาเดินชมที่ Open House, Central Embassy ชั้น 6 ในช่วงวันที่ 3-30 มิถุนายนนี้ เพราะนอกจากจะได้ชมงานสวยๆ ยังเป็นการสนับสนุนศิลปินไทยและแบ่งปันแนวคิดดีๆ เกี่ยวกับการใช้ชีวิตอย่างรับผิดชอบต่อโลกด้วยครับ
