VEGAS ELOPEMENT ON A BUDGET 💒
Want to wed under $300? My husband & I were in Vegas for a convention event when we decided to renew our vows for our 6th wedding anniversary back in 2022.
We ended up picking The Little White Wedding Chapel for its old Vegas style & I personally couldn't have been happier with our choice. The vibes were definitely there. We wanted both daylight & evening pictures. We booked the ceremony for 4:45pm, after filling out all the paperwork we needed we started around 5pm. The timing was perfect as we still got amazing shots around the property.
We booked our photographer for 2.5hrs as well & she was the sweetest soul ever. She ended up driving us around Las Vegas & getting some shots of us around town.
We wrapped up around 645pm just in time for our dinner reservations at Ramsey's Kitchen inside Harrahs where the food was phenomenal & the atmosphere was perfect.
On & all the entire experience came out at about $300 for everything & im still super pleased with it! I've listed everything from chapel, photographer & clothes in the link in my bio 🫶🏼Little White Wedding Chapel #vegaswedding #vegasguide #vegasvacation #whattowear #beautyfinds
My husband and I recently celebrated our vow renewal in Las Vegas, proving that an unforgettable experience doesn't have to break the bank! If you're wondering how much it truly costs to elope in Vegas on a budget, I'm here to spill all the details and tips that helped us keep our entire experience under $300. First, let's talk about the heart of our celebration: The Little White Wedding Chapel. For anyone looking for a truly cheap Las Vegas wedding package, this iconic chapel is a fantastic choice. You might be surprised to learn that you can book their most basic gazebo ceremony package for as little as $65, plus a tip for the officiant. The beauty of this is that even with the cheapest package, you often get full access to the chapel grounds for photos, which is a huge win for capturing those special moments without extra fees. There’s even a 24 HR Drive Up Wedding Window for the ultimate budget and convenience option! Breaking Down the Budget: Beyond the Chapel While the chapel fee is minimal, other elements contribute to your total cost. Here’s a rough idea of how our under-$300 budget came together: Chapel Package: As mentioned, starting from $65. We chose a slightly upgraded package for our specific needs but still kept it affordable. Photographer: This was our biggest 'splurge' at around $150-$200 for 2.5 hours. It was worth every penny! I recommend searching for local freelance photographers specializing in elopements; they often offer more flexible and budget-friendly packages than larger studios. Our photographer was amazing, even driving us around town to capture iconic Las Vegas backdrops like Fremont Street. Getting those beautiful daytime and evening shots was key, and we timed our 4:45 PM ceremony perfectly for both. Attire: We reused special occasion outfits we already owned to save money. For a budget elopement, consider a short white dress, a stylish jumpsuit, or a sharp suit you can wear again. Vegas is all about fun, so don't feel pressured into a traditional gown. Look for affordable options or consider renting. Dinner: After our ceremony and photos, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Ramsey's Kitchen inside Harrah's. While we opted for dishes like Beef Wellington and Grilled Asparagus, you can easily find delicious, budget-friendly dining options across Vegas, from casual eateries to happy hour specials. Marriage License: Don't forget the legal stuff! The marriage license fee in Nevada is typically around $100 and applies to both renewals and first-time marriages. This is a non-negotiable cost. Tips for a Seamless & Affordable Vegas Elopement Weekday Wisdom: If your schedule allows, book your ceremony during a weekday. We found fewer crowds, making the experience more intimate and photo opportunities easier to seize. Timing is Everything: Our 4:45 PM ceremony was ideal. We had natural daylight for early photos and then the stunning transition to evening lights for a completely different vibe – capturing the best of both worlds. Embrace the Iconic: The Little White Wedding Chapel isn't just budget-friendly; it's steeped in history, having hosted celebrity weddings like Michael Jordan and Joan Collins. It adds a fun, classic Vegas touch to your story. DIY Your Beauty: For #beautyfinds, consider doing your own hair and makeup or enlisting a talented friend. This saves a significant amount compared to professional services. Eloping in Vegas can be incredibly romantic, memorable, and yes, even cheap! With a little planning and smart choices, you can create a magical day that you'll cherish forever, just like we did.
