Marry Me Banana Pudding

This is the recipe my great-grandmother would use for her banana pudding.

Ingredients:

• Vanilla wafers, 11oz

• Cool whip, 8oz

• Sweetened condensed milk, 14oz (specifically Eagle Brand)

• Large vanilla pudding mix, approximately 5oz

• Milk (I only had vanilla almond milk, any type will work)

• Lemon juice

• Bananas (2 minimum, approx 6-7 recommended)

1. Add the recommended milk amount and the pudding mix into a bowl. Whisk.

2. Add the whole can of condensed milk and the container of cool whip. Mix well.

3. In a separate bowl, cut bananas into slices and sprinkle a generous amount of lemon juice over them. Carefully mix with your hands.

4. In a wide container, line the bottom with vanilla wafers and banana slices. Cover with pudding. Repeat layers of wafers and bananas about 2-3 times.

5. Crumble cookie pieces on top. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Enjoy!

Additional notes: I only used 2 bananas because I like the banana flavor but not the texture. I highly recommend using more than this for a more authentic pudding! My family’s belief is that the pudding always tastes better the next day.
