A High Fiber Snack That Tastes Like Cheez Itz! 🧀

I’ve been trying to get more fiber in my diet and I stumbled on these at my grocery store.

They’re similar to Cheez Itz but the nutrition is crazy! I compared this to a real box of Cheez Itz (which I already had) and one serving half the amount of calories but 13g of fiber!

• They’re pretty close to Cheez-Itz in taste

• They have a light cheese dusting on them

• They’re a little duller in color than real Cheez Itz and a little smaller

But… I loved these! I’d buy these again. I ended up eating half of the bag in one sitting 💀

I found this at my local international food store but I know they also sell these at Meijer locations.

We all love a good cheesy crunch, but sometimes the nutritional labels can be a buzzkill. That’s why I was so excited to stumble upon these Fiber Gourmet Thinables. They’re not just a snack; they’re a revelation, especially if you’re trying to up your fiber intake without sacrificing flavor. Many of us wonder, 'are Cheez-Itz low fiber?' The answer is generally yes, they don't offer much in terms of dietary fiber. This is where the Thinables shine! Each serving packs a whopping 13g of fiber. To put that into perspective, that’s a significant chunk of your daily recommended intake in just one snack. Fiber is crucial for digestive health, helps you feel full longer, and can even aid in managing blood sugar levels. So, hitting that 13g mark with something so tasty feels like a win-win! Let’s talk numbers, because that’s often where the real truth lies, right? When you look at a typical 'Cheez-Itz box nutrition label,' you’ll likely see higher calories and very little fiber. But with these Fiber Gourmet Thinables Original Cheddar crackers, the difference is stark. The box proudly states '53% less calories and 63% less net carbs than leading brands.' My personal comparison showed these have about half the calories of a regular Cheez-Itz serving, coming in at just 70 calories per serving. Plus, they offer 5g of protein, addressing those of us looking for 'highest protein snack crackers cheese' options. It’s a serious upgrade for your snack game. Now, down to the most important part for a cheesy snack: the taste! The OCR mentioned a 'tangy and cheesy flavor,' and I couldn't agree more. While they might be 'a little duller in color than real Cheez Itz and a little smaller,' as I noted, the flavor profile is incredibly close. There’s a distinct, light cheese dusting that gives you that satisfying savory hit. They deliver on that classic cheddar cracker experience you crave, but without the guilt. I’ve enjoyed them on their own, but I can also imagine them being fantastic crumbled over a salad for an extra crunch or paired with a light dip. Finding these gems might take a little searching. I initially discovered them at my local international food store, and I know they’re also available at Meijer locations. If you can’t find Fiber Gourmet Thinables specifically, don't despair! Keep an eye out in the health food aisle or online for other brands offering high-fiber, low-calorie cheese crackers. Always check the nutrition facts for fiber and protein content to ensure you’re getting a truly beneficial snack. It’s all about finding those delicious alternatives that fuel your body and satisfy your cravings!
