Advice from a Christian👇

🪷Spend time in the word: Read your Bible daily. So many people say they don’t have time, but let’s be real for a moment, you’re reading this right now. I used to be in same boat, if I know I don’t have time to read when I’m home I take it to work and I study on lunch. It’s hard to be consistent, I still have days I skip, but an effort is so important. Be kind to yourself, don’t make it a stressful experience, just prioritize it. When I started I would reward myself for x consecutive days with ice cream!

🪷Pray More: This cannot be understated. There really is no such thing as praying too much. My life and the way I treated people changed a lot when I started considering that my inner thoughts are prayers. It made me think kinder thoughts and not get angry so quick. I can’t lie I struggle with prayer, but practice makes perfect, even with prayer.

🪷Give credit: When I see something beautiful like any of these pictures I always say a quick prayer to thank God for allowing me to see something so beautiful. Giving thanks to the Creator for the things He created is important. It also makes you realize how much he cares for you. Praise, praise, praise.

... Read moreStrengthening your faith as a Christian requires intentional effort in daily spiritual practices. Daily Bible reading is crucial for deepening your understanding of God's word, yet many find it challenging to incorporate this into their busy lives. One effective strategy is to set time aside each day, perhaps during a lunch break or a quiet moment in your evening routine, to read and reflect on Scripture. This not only helps you grow closer to God but also offers guidance and inspiration for daily challenges. Prayer is a vital aspect of Christian life, fostering a deeper connection with God. It is important to remember that there is no limit to prayer; it can happen in any moment, whether through structured prayers or spontaneous conversations with God throughout the day. Incorporating gratitude into your prayers can transform your mindset—taking a moment to thank God for the beauty around you, or for the small joys in life enhances your relationship with Him and lifts your spirit. As you embark on this journey, consider how sharing your struggles and victories with others can create a supportive community. Engaging with fellow Christians, whether through church groups or online platforms, provides encouragement and accountability. Many individuals find solace in discussing their experiences and learning from the perspectives of others, reinforcing their faith and sense of belonging. If you're navigating your faith journey, don't hesitate to outreach for support, and remember that you are not alone in your journey. Each step you take in nurturing your relationship with God and others is a vital part of your growth.
