I’ve lived in east tn my entire life and we’re so lucky to be surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian mountain range. First the Cherokee National Forest is gorgeous. Theres a long list of hikes and it’s so much less crowded than the nearby national park. Which leads me to my next Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s just a loop you can drive to see wildlife but riding bikes or hiking is also available. Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of my most favorite hikes. We went to Chattanooga after and Ruby Falls gives an amazing cave tour plus a wonderful view.
