How to save your skin while pregnant

🫧 My Pregnancy Belly Routine🫧

1. Shea butter. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I started using shea butter on my stomach and giving it a little massage every night. Shea butter is rich in vitamins A and E, which helps keep the skin moisturized and supports elasticity. Massaging the skin improves circulation and promotes skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

2. Exfoliate. Once a week, I gently exfoliated in the shower to keep my skin smooth and help everything absorb better. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, allowing moisturizers to penetrate deeper and keep the skin more hydrated.

3. Drink, drink, drink! I made sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated- good for skin elasticity and of course, essential for pregnancy! Hydrated skin is more resilient and better able to stretch without damage.

Just a reminder: Stretch marks come from a lot of different factors (genetics, hormones, etc.) so this might not work for everyone- and there's absolutely nothing wrong with having them! But if you're looking for something to try, that’s what I did🤍
