Hey Lemon8 fam! So excited to finally be here and share a little piece of my world. As a Midwest girl, originally from the heart of Wisconsin, I’m always balancing my love for cozy coffee shops with dreams of sunshine and beach getaways. Right now, my main gig is being a Special Education Major at UWEC. It’s an incredibly fulfilling path, preparing me to work with amazing kids, but it definitely comes with its own set of challenges. For my fellow college students out there, what are your best hacks for managing a demanding major while still having a life? I've found that time blocking and finding a quiet study spot (preferably with good coffee!) are absolute game-changers. The OCR mentioned 'ECDC Special Education Major!' and it really captures my focus right now. Life also looks a little different for me as a Military Girlfriend, navigating a long-distance journey. It's a unique experience, filled with both tough goodbyes and incredibly sweet reunions. We're talking 1,263 miles away, as the OCR put it – 'Loving each other from 1,263 miles away'! Communication is key, whether it's daily texts, video calls, or handwritten letters. If you've been in a long-distance relationship, especially a 'milso' one, I'd love to hear your best tips for staying connected and keeping the relationship strong. What keeps you going when the miles feel long? Beyond textbooks and long-distance calls, my passions truly light up when I think about travel, shopping, and soaking up some warm weather. As a 'Wisconsinite,' chasing the 'SUNSHINE Enthusiast' vibe is a year-round mission! I'm always scouting for budget-friendly ways to 'TAKE The trip IDEALLY @ THE BEACH.' Maybe even finding the perfect 'SUN DRESS' for that dream vacation! What are your absolute must-have travel essentials, especially for quick getaways? And for my fashion lovers, where do you find the best deals on trendy pieces that won't break a student budget? I’m all about finding cute outfits that can transition from campus to a weekend adventure. I'm genuinely thrilled to be part of this community and share more about my experiences as a college student, a military girlfriend, and someone who just loves to explore. Looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing some more practical tips soon!
