For the beef:
1. Toss 1 lb finely diced beef with 1 tsp garlic powder, a sprinkle of chipotle powder, ½ tsp cumin, salt & pepper, and juice of 1 lime.
2. Let the beef mixture marinate for at least 15 minutes to develop flavor.
3. Heat a skillet over high heat with a little oil.
4. Brown the beef in a single layer until browned with slightly crispy edges, stirring occasionally.
For the tostadas:
1. Cut corn tortillas into heart shapes.
2. Heat oil in a skillet and fry tortillas until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels.
3. Spread a layer of refried beans on each tostada.
4. Top with cooked beef and shredded cheese.
5. Add shredded lettuce, diced Roma tomato, guacamole, and a drizzle of crema and Valentina.
6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
