Showing up for myself

When you show up for yourself, the results will come with time. Body dysmorphia is real, and no matter how the world sees you, it’s really about how you see yourself.

There are days I wake up feeling heavier than others. Days where my body image is all over the place. But at the same time, I feel myself getting stronger, lifting more, and having more energy. That’s why the scale is such a bullshitter, it doesn’t show what’s actually changing inside you.

Progress isn’t just a number. It’s in your muscles, your strength, your habits, and how you keep showing up daily. Whether it’s the gym, 10k steps, eating whole foods, or even resting your body when you need to, it all matters.

Life gets busy. Not everyone has the same time, and that’s okay. What matters is you don’t let a number on a scale dictate your worth. Keep pushing, keep showing up, and trust that the real changes are happening, inside and out. 💪✨

Mental health and physical health are intertwined; cultivating kindness toward yourself supports long-term wellbeing. Remember, progress is a holistic experience. Focusing solely on numbers can distract from the real benefits: feeling stronger, more energized, and more confident in your abilities. By continuing to show up for yourself, you foster an authentic transformation that addresses both body and mind, paving the way for sustainable personal growth and happiness.
