Walking is an excellent low-impact cardio workout that promotes circulation and strength without putting stress on your leg. Engaging in regular physical therapy not only aids in restoring mobility but also helps build muscle strength. Incorporating ice therapy can significantly reduce swelling and provide immediate comfort, while it may not heal the injury, it definitely helps with pain management. Additionally, taking time for mindfulness and mental health throughout the recovery process is essential, as staying positive can improve healing outcomes. As you address your physical needs, don’t forget to connect with a supportive community, whether online or in person, to share experiences and insights about recovery and healing. Remember, recovery takes time, and focusing on what you can do each day can foster resilience and motivation.
