2024 Goals ✨

This year my focus is on improvement. In the past I’ve gotten over my head and tried to accomplish too many goals at once. I want to focus on wellness and improving myself for 2024.

I think it’s best to start small and slowly work your way up. If you jump all in at once it can be very overwhelming. I can be a perfectionist at times so starting small has helped me.

More about my goals:

1. 🏔️Hiking

- I want to start out by doing 2 hikes a month. I can do more if I want. I’ll be using AllTrails to plan my routes. On that app you can sort distance, scenic options, and how hard it’ll be.

2. 🧘‍♀️Meditate

- I’ll find a quiet place to sit focus and on my breathing. I start of by setting an intention for that practice whether thats patience or growth. Then inhale positive thoughts and exhale negative. Doing this helps clear my mind!

3. 📝Journal

- I’m going to work on journaling all my feelings every morning when I wake up.

- Each night in bed I’ll journal about my day. I’ve been pretty consistent with this over the past 4 years. It’s been cool being able to see how much I’ve improved and what I’ve done each day.

4. 📖Read

- I have a 20 minute commute to work in the morning so listening to audiobooks on Spotify has been the one way I can squeeze in a book! If I’m feel music instead (which is okay!) I’ll listen to part of my book while warming up on the treadmill at the gym. I usually start by 10 minutes of walking anyways.

5. 🥗Healthy Eating

- My mother in-law has her own herbal business which has inspired me to change how I eat. My husband loves plants too! My goal for this is adding more fruits and veggies to my diet. I shop at a farmers market where I then bring home and clean everything!

- I want to try to eat less processed foods. So making things from scratch! I’m not perfect at all. I’m taking everything bit by bit. I’m learning how to bake so I can take charge of my own sweet tooth.

6. 🙆‍♀️Movement

- I don’t know much about cycle syncing my workouts. It’s my goal to learn more about that and apply it to my life! More info on my journey of this will be posted!

7. ✍🏼Mood Tracking

- this one sounds simple but it’s super easy to forget. I’m just going to track my moods in a color coordinated chart.

8. 🎨Hobbies

-I have so many things I want to learn! Here’s a list:

Knitting, painting, longboarding, DIY, jewelry making, tarot reading, and poetry!

9. ♻️Recycle

- I’m slowly switching products in my home to reusable eco-friendly materials. So far my husband and I got reusable mop pads and cleaning supplies.

- I want to get into making my own shampoo and laundry detergent.
