Take the Shinkansen to GALA Yuzawa.
Snow, skiing, or taking a scenic basket.
Cold travels back to Tokyo.
GALA Yuzawa is about 71 minutes from Tokyo with the Joetsu Shinkansen and the station is only open in winter and spring.
Day 3 | Kawazu Sakura Festival 🌸

Travel to Kawazu City
A walk to see Sakura by the river
Stop by restaurants and shops inside the fair.
Cool back to Tokyo.
Kawazu is about 2 hours and 40 minutes from Tokyo by train, and Sakura here is a fast blooming species. The festival usually runs from February to early March, but the actual blooming day is different each year.
Day 4 | Fuji trip 🗻

Leave early.
Take the train to Kawaguchiko Zone.
