Do you ever get tired of being strong?!
Personally I’m so tired of people telling me how strong I am. I don’t even tell people what I’m going through most of the time because I know all they’re going to do is tell me I’ll be fine because I’m so strong. But why not actually help me?! Even the strongest of people can struggle with their mental health. And we all need help sometimes. So no matter what anybody else thinks, you don’t have to be strong all the time. You deserve help too.

In today's fast-paced world, the expectation to appear strong all the time can be exhausting. Many individuals burden themselves with the pressure of resilience, often at the cost of their mental well-being. Common phrases such as “you’re strong, you’ll get through this” can unintentionally minimize the very real struggles that people face. Mental health advocates emphasize that even the strongest individuals can experience periods of vulnerability and despair. Exploring options like therapy or talking to trusted friends can be vital steps in declaring that it’s okay to seek help. Social media platforms play a crucial role in creating communities where individuals can share their experiences related to mental health. Engaging in hashtags like #fightdepression or #mentalhealthadvocate allows users to connect with others who understand their struggles. It's essential to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health and recognize that everyone requires support at times, regardless of how strong or capable they may seem. Moreover, practicing self-care and setting boundaries is equally vital for maintaining mental health. Learning to say no and advocating for personal needs can alleviate stress and create a healthier life balance. Remember, strength does not lie in enduring hardship silently, but in the courage to reach out for help when needed.

sometimes i just want to surrender and stop constantly fighting for my life all alone.
