What I ate during my 21 day Daniel Fast

So my church fasts together every year in January, following the Daniel fast. It’s a memorable opportunity to grow closer to God and to my church family at the same time… plus we support one another throughout the journey through prayer and extra fellowship. But this year I wanted to do it on my own and really take the time to isolate to hear from God more clearly. I wanted to dive deeper into my spiritual connection with Him. So I chose to do mine in March, the true new year. ✨

For the first week I simply did no meat, no diary, and only whole grains. Second week I followed the same guidelines but only water from 6:00am-6:00pm. And on the third week I did only juice and water for the finale leading up to Easter Sunday when I finally broke my fast at midnight 🙌🏾

I’m grateful that God stuck with me through this journey, even though I messed up a few times with the whole grains 😅 I didnt give up, and I felt better about my shortcomings with my juice n water week. God continued giving me strength to get through and spoke directly to me, as He guided me through the month. God has been bestowing blessings upon me right off my prayer board! And I’m so thankful, Oh how I love Him 🫶🏾
