I Thought We Were Only Going to a Zoo…

For our last day in Montreal, we made the trip to Zoo de Granby and I quickly realized it’s so much more than a zoo.

It’s a zoo, amusement park, and water park all in one, and even after spending the entire day there, we still didn’t see everything. If you’re planning a visit, I’d definitely set aside a full day (or honestly, two!).

Teddy’s favorite part of the zoo was riding the monorail high above the animal habitats and watching the sharks and stingrays up close. We spotted kangaroos, colorful birds, bears, and so many animals we lost count.

After exploring the zoo, we ended the day at the water park. It was only around 70°F, and Teddy was absolutely freezing, but you couldn’t have paid him to leave. He tackled the lazy river and water slides over and over, shivering the whole time with the biggest smile on his face.

Looking back, it was the perfect way to end our Montréal adventure. One last day of exploring, one very tired 3 yr old, and a whole lot of memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.
