Sometimes Someone Else Knows Best
You know, my Dad has been trying to get me to use a spot to take pictures in for the better part of a year. And eventually gave up. Well, today, it was well below freezing, windy, and snowing. I was not about to go outside and get pictures there like I normally do.
Recently, I have been working on softening and listening to the people around me. Healing the hyper independence I've used as a shield for 42 years now. And I gave my Dad's idea a shot.
This was the result.
And boy, was I blown away. I should have listened. And in the future, I will. This self-discovery journey is filled with things I thought I was doing but actually wasn't all along. I really hope I can continue to grow and learn and soften even more. I refuse to let my past harden me as it wants to 🫶🫶
