It’s National Missouri Day!
Have you been to the "Show-Me State"? What was your favorite thing to do or see? Ozzy Bluff was a typical tourist on his first trip to Gateway Arch National Park. He just had to pose as if he was holding up the curved steel structure. Afterwards he took the unique elevator to the top. He heard it wasn't for those with claustrophobia, but he found them extremely roomy. Unfortunately, at the top he wasn't tall enough to look out the observation windows. He wanted to take in a baseball game but was afraid of the home team. He heard cardinals like to eat nuts.

Missouri, often called the "Show-Me State," offers visitors an exciting blend of natural beauty, history, and cultural experiences. One of its most famous landmarks is the Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis. The Arch stands 630 feet tall and symbolizes the westward expansion of the United States. Visitors can ride in a specially designed tram to the top of the Arch, where panoramic views of the Mississippi River and St. Louis skyline await. Though some may worry about claustrophobia during the ride, many find the trams surprisingly spacious and safe. Beyond the Arch, Missouri provides ample opportunities for exploration. Sports fans can catch a baseball game featuring the St. Louis Cardinals, one of the most beloved teams in the state. The Cardinals' history and dedicated fanbase add to the charm of attending games in Missouri. Additionally, visitors can explore charming small towns, enjoy delicious local cuisine, and discover unique art — including whimsical art inspired by nature, such as acorn-themed creations. Nature lovers can take advantage of Missouri’s many parks and outdoor activities, from hiking Ozark trails and visiting beautiful bluffs to birdwatching and spotting cardinals, the state bird known for its striking red feathers and fondness for nuts. Whether it’s your first or fifth visit, Missouri offers welcoming hospitality and memorable experiences perfect for celebrating National Missouri Day.
