National Pianist Day

Today is a day to honor those who have dedicated their lives to tickling the ivories. It's National Pianist Day! Johnny "No Fingers" Staccato is a classically trained pianist from the Oakley College of Music. He travels to all corners of Dark Oak Forest to spread musical joy. Today Johnny's music floats through the air, entwining with the thunderous roar of a waterfall, creating a symphony of sound that's in perfect tune with nature.. His melodies conjure a spell of joy and enchantment. He loves entertaining the forest creatures, even if it is just one tiny squirrel that came to croon and chitter with the music.

Artist's Note: This scene was photographed at Abram's Fall in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The hike to the falls is 5 miles round trip. The piano collapses to fit in a small box that I carry in a backpack with all my camera equipment. The legs attach with magnets. Find more musical prints at: https://tinyurl.com/awmusician
